CYDI Award

The Canada’s Youth Diversity Initiative Awards (CYDI Award) are the first awards to recognize the work of dedicated Canadian politicians who work to address discrimination and promote diversity in Canada.

Applicants must be Canadian citizens; and must be part involved in either municipal, provincial or federal politics.

The ideal winners of this award are persons who have worked to eliminate discrimination within their community through introduced legislations, programs and unique initiatives.

The deadline for award application is September 1. The winner(s) will be selected and contacted by September 30, and awarded at the Jer’s Vision Gala.

To Apply, applicants must submit the following to Jer’s Vision:

  1. One copy of the application form (PDF);
  2. Two reference letters;
  3. Their current resume;
  4. One copy of an essay of up to 250 words describing their efforts to eliminate discrimination in their community (one printed copy, and one electronic copy on disk/CD); and
  5. A recent photo of themselves (for the website, should they win).

  • Applications and support material will be accepted in both French and English
  • Please note that all items submitted become the property of Jer's Vision, and will not be returned.
